Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ePDFConverter ("the Service", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ePDFConverter provides free online tools for editing, merging, compressing, converting and signing PDFs, as well as resizing images. All tools process files entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Files are never uploaded to our servers, and no account is required to use the Service.

3. Free Use

• The Service is provided free of charge with no sign-up, no paywalls and no imposed usage limits.
• We may add, modify or remove tools at any time without prior notice.
• Processing is limited by the capabilities of your device and browser. Very large files may be slow or may exceed the practical limits of your hardware.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process or create material that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, threatening or otherwise unlawful.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or damage the Service or interfere with other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code from the Service or its components.
• Use the Service to misrepresent the origin of documents or to forge files.
• Attempt to access any part of the Service that you are not authorised to use.

5. Intellectual Property

The ePDFConverter name, logo, design, text and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

Files you process remain your property. We do not claim any ownership over documents or images you work with — and, since they never leave your device, we never even see them.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
• That output files will be accurate, complete, suitable for any particular purpose, or compatible with third-party software.
• That processing of any particular file will succeed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we, our affiliates, officers, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because all processing happens locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up and verifying your files and results. Always review output documents before relying on them.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may display advertising served by third parties (such as Google AdSense) and may contain links to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of any third-party services or websites.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above is revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ePDFConverter operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms.

11. Contact Us
